I am a newcomer to the Charleston area, and it was Susan’s photos that first made me appreciate the beauty of the marshlands.

I met Susan at her booth at the Charleston Farmer’s Market. I was immediately drawn to her photographs of the beach and the water. We spent some time talking about where I would be using them, after which she custom framed them and delivered them to my house! I just wanted to tell you how pleased I am with the 3 prints of your photographic artwork which I purchased a few months ago. The prints are each representative of different aspects of life here in the South Carolina Lowcountry, and with your helpful suggestions on subject and tones, they each complement the other without any one being overpowering. My favorite is the one with the Chris-Craft boat and the bright colors of the flag, water, etc. Thank you as well for framing them perfectly. You have a very special talent.

I’m always out searching for good art, and I had just visited the Audubon Sanctuary and was struck with Susan’s two photos of Great Egrets. The combination of pure white Egrets and the budding burgundy trees was captivating. I first tried the smaller sized print which didn’t fit my needs so I had the pair enlarged, and they became even more captivating. The photographs are crisp and clear, and the colors are precise and vibrant. I had them mounted in flat gold frames which made them look regal, and they turned out wonderfully.~ Jim R.
